Data protection

Privacy policy.

This policy explains which personal data ScudIA processes when you use this website, in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).

Data controller

What this website does not do

  • Technical cookies may be set by the website’s security infrastructure, including Cloudflare. The internal analytics described below operate without cookies.
  • Internal analytics, without cookies or advertising tools, count visits, page views, navigation sequences and clicks on contact or assistant links.
  • Fonts and scripts are hosted on this website; no resources are loaded from third-party services.

These statistics use a random identifier held only in memory during the visit. It disappears when the page is reloaded or closed. Statistics contain no names, email addresses, form or conversation content, or IP addresses. Traffic sources are grouped by channel; only designated campaign codes are retained, not full referring URLs. A short-lived technical fingerprint limits abuse without storing the IP address in plain text. Analysis covers the last 90 days; older events are deleted when new measurements arrive or the dashboard is viewed. Summaries are restricted to ScudIA administrators. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control preferences are respected; a footer button disables statistics for the current visit.

Data we process

Your contact enquiry

The contact form prepares an email in your email application: you still need to send it. The Website creation questionnaire submits your contact details, answers and attachments to ScudIA’s private administration after your consent. A message with a reference confirms that it has been saved.

We use these data only to reply, prepare a proposal and, where applicable, fulfil the contract.

Technical data

As with any website, the hosting provider records technical data on each visit (IP address, date and time, requested page and browser type) to keep the website operating securely. The provider retains these logs for a limited period.

Recipients and international transfers

Your data are neither sold nor rented. The public website and administration are published with Sites on Cloudflare infrastructure. The info@scudia.ch mailbox uses Infomaniak. If you activate the assistant, your messages and voluntary recordings are sent to OpenAI with your consent. Depending on the service, processing may take place outside Switzerland; we do not guarantee processing exclusively in Switzerland. Questions about providers and transfers: info@scudia.ch.

Retention period

Enquiries that do not proceed are deleted after 12 months. Contract-related documents (quotes, invoices and business correspondence) are kept for ten years, as required by Swiss law.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, deletion or delivery of your data in a common format, or object to processing. Write to info@scudia.ch : we reply within 30 days.

You may also contact the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).

Visitors in the European Union

If you are in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) also applies. We process contact enquiries to reply and prepare a proposal (pre-contractual measures, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR), and technical data to ensure website security (legitimate interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

You have the rights described above and may lodge a complaint with your country’s data protection authority. Switzerland benefits from a European Commission adequacy decision: data receive a level of protection recognised as equivalent.
